This page records what the patient has decided about their FSE, the Italian national electronic health record. It is a register of consent as captured by the clinic — four separate decisions, each with its own history.
What you can do here
- Record consultation consent — whether other clinicians may consult this patient’s FSE.
- Record feeding consent — whether the clinic may feed this patient’s documents into the FSE.
- Record an oscuramento intent per FSE document category — the patient’s standing wish to obscure documents of that kind.
- Record an informativa acknowledgement — that the patient was shown the privacy informativa.
- Read the full history of every entry.
Recording requires the permission to update the patient record. Without it, the page is readable but the actions are not offered.
Four decisions, not one
These are separate levers and they are not interchangeable. In particular, feeding consent is what permits the clinic to feed this patient’s documents into the FSE, and it gates RSA submission. Consultation consent is a different question — who may read what is there — and granting one says nothing about the other.
Each is shown with its current value and the date that value took effect. A decision that has never been captured shows as not captured, which is not the same as refused.
Dates
An entry’s effective date defaults to today. A future date is not accepted. Backdating is allowed, because consent is often given on paper before it reaches Kairo, and the date that matters is the date the patient decided, not the date you typed it in.
The history
Nothing here is overwritten. Each entry is added to a history showing the lever, the value, the effective date, who captured it, and when — along with who gave the consent, if it was a representative rather than the patient, and any note recording where the decision came from.
