FSE professional identity

The credentials a practitioner needs before they can author and sign a clinic's FSE documents.

A clinical document sent to the FSE has an author, and that author has to be identified properly: their codice fiscale, their demographics, the name as it appears on their document, their dental qualifications, and their Albo enrolments. This page captures that for one staff member. It is reached from the staff list.

What you can do here

  • Designate the staff member as an FSE author with a switch, or clear that designation.
  • Record codice fiscale, sex, date of birth, and place of birth, the last chosen from a searchable list of comuni.
  • Record the document name — given name and family name — captured separately from the internal display name shown elsewhere in Kairo.
  • Add professional qualifications, one or more, from the catalogue Kairo maintains.
  • Add register enrolments (Albo) — the Albo, the province of enrolment, and the registration number.
  • Watch the completeness indicator, which names each field still missing.

Designation is the switch that matters

Nothing on this page is in force until the staff member is designated as an FSE author. Someone who is not designated is neither complete nor incomplete — they are simply out of scope. Clearing the designation does not erase anything: the captured data is kept and comes back if you designate them again.

While designated, at least one qualification and at least one complete enrolment are required for the identity to count as complete.

Why it matters

The author’s identity is one of the three things an FSE document needs before it can be signed and sent — the other two are the branch’s FSE structure identity and the procedure’s FSE coding. On FSE documents, a document is signable only by its own author.
